Formal Education:
Our main aim is to provide the children with a good standard of formal education. Nepal has two types of school: public and private. While the public schools are managed by the government, private schools are managed by private investors. In our experience, the private investors have a vested interest in ensuring their pupils get good results. This tends to produce a better standard of teaching and pushes the students to work harder.
Although significantly more expensive than public schooling, we have chosen to send our children to a local private school. “MAHAMANJUSHREE HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL” is well managed, hygienic environment, professional and academic environment has a reputation for academic excellence and takes very good care of the children. The children are disciplined, the teachers active and the operational calendar is perfect.
In addition to their school education, we also have managed to hire a tuition teacher who teaches two hours of additional study in the evenings and helps with their homework. Formal schooling in Nepal runs until Class 10. After passing their School Leaving Certificate in Class 10, we encourage our children to attend higher education, university or to engage in skills-based vocational training.
